People often ask me why I joined the Numis Network and depending how much time they have to listen I am able to think of a LOT of reasons. 

One of the first things that comes to mind is money pure and simple.

In fact the first thing to know about “Numis” or the “Numis Network”  is that it IS about money and how to make more money.

I can remember the great feeling as a child having enough coins in my pocket to buy a Coca-Cola and how fulfilling it was to have someone pick me up so I could put those coins in the slot, push the Coke button, and then to have the Coke just slunker down to the slot where I could grab the cold can open it up and enjoy the treat.

Everyone can think of how coins became an integral part of our lives beyond the just those vending machine moments, how about  those times a few coins we could get something to eat or buy gas!

In college I was down to literally scraping for coins to eat but heh’ in a clutch I could always find money for a burrito or a beer in my car or in a desk.

Since then something totally unexpected happened.  My Grandmother passed away and in her will left me part of her coin collection.  The collection didn’t seem very sizeable, I mean there were under 100 coins.  There were quarters, nickels, half dollars, and just a few silver dollars.

Well I couldn’t believe it when I went and had them appraised and just on the numismatic value alone they were worth over $12,000!

I told my friends about this and we started talking about coin collecting, the price of precious metals like silver and gold, and if there was a way to make money collecting coins and silver and gold without having to become some expert with a magnifying  glass, thick books, work bench set up out in the garage.

The answer came from my cousin Sotero Garcia who is in the Numis Network.  He explained everything there is to know about Numis and how to make money in Numis.
